Hyderabad, Feb. 20 -- Gleneagles Hospitals, Lakdi-ka-pul has achieved a major milestone in liver transplantation by successfully shifting from conventional open donor surgery to laparoscopic donor hepatectomy, significantly improving donor safety, recovery and quality of life.
Talking to the media here on Friday, Dr Vishal K Chorasiya, Head of HPB and Lead Liver Transplant Surgeon, said that over the past six months the hospital has performed more than 25 laparoscopic donor liver surgeries.
