Accra, Jan. 9 -- Football fans in Ghana on Friday expressed worry over the injuries of two top stars of the country's male senior national team, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus who play their trade for AS Monaco in the French Ligue 1 and Tottenham Hotspurs in the Premier League respectively are currently injured, a situation could potentially affect the fortunes of the Black Stars in the World Cup.
Forty-year-old Theophilus Atseku, a physical education instructor in an educational institution in the eastern port city of Tema observed that the Black Stars defense and midfield have been broken with the injury of the two players.
