Beed, Dec. 7 -- Seventeen people, including BJP leader Balraje Pawar and his son Shivraj Pawar, were arrested and later released with notice following violent clashes between the Pawar and Pandit groups during the Georai Municipal Corporation elections. Police officials said all arrested individuals will be produced before Additional Superintendent of Police Sachin Pandkar on Monday, where a substantial bond amount will be taken from them. Any further violations will lead to cancellation of the bond and financial penalties, they added.
