Patna, Jan. 14 -- The Bihar Government on Wednesday made Geo-Spatial approval mandatory to execute any project worth Rs 50 crores and above relating to infrastructure sector in the state.
Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit while reviewing the performance of the Science and Technology Department, directed that Geo-Spatial approval would be mandatory for preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) of any such high cost infrastructure project. All departments would be responsible for seeking compliance with geo-spatial parameters in preparing the DPRs, he added.
