Ranchi, Jan. 19 -- The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) on Monday organised a one-day GeM Excellence Event in Ranchi to promote transparent, efficient and technology-driven public procurement in Jharkhand.

The event, held at the Project Building in Dhurwa, aimed to familiarise government buyers and Jharkhand-based sellers with new features, processes and reforms on the GeM platform, with a focus on strengthening digital procurement across state departments.

GeM Chief Executive Officer Mihir Kumar, Secretary of the Commercial Taxes Department Amit Kumar, Secretary Finance (Expenditure) Abu Imran, Special Secretary Finance Sandeep Singh and Director, Social Welfare Directorate Kiran Kumari Pasi were among those present.
