New Delhi, Feb. 17 -- Fourteen international captains, including Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev have urged the Pakistan government to hold talks with jailed cricketer turned polititian Imran Khan and treat him better.
The joint statement, released to select media outlets, including Cricbuzz, is an official statement for the well-being of the former World Cup-winning captain.
There is representation that there is no information available about the health or safety Imran in jail.
In their one-page request, they said, "We respectfully request the Government of Pakistan to give this to Imran Khan. Immediate, accurate and continuous medical help from a qualified specialist of their choice to address their stated health problem. Humane and digni...
