New Delhi, Feb. 25 -- Delhi Police registered an FIR after unidentified gunmen opened fire on a car near the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Kashmere Gate late on Tuesday, injuring one person, officials said.
The vehicle was carrying a lawyer linked to incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, an official said on Wednesday.
Gangster Naveen Boxer allegedly took responsibility for the attack in a social media post believed to have been shared by him.
"A case has been registered at Kashmere Gate Police Station under Sections 109 and 3 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act, based on a complaint filed by advocate Deepak Khatri," an official said.
