Nagpur, Feb. 1 -- union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday congratulated Sunetra Pawar on her swearing-in as the first woman Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Gadkari praised Sunetra Pawar for stepping into the leadership role amid challenging circumstances following the tragic death of her husband, Ajit Pawar, in an air crash.
Lauding her resolve, he said she had taken on the responsibility with the state's interests at heart.
"Congratulations to Smt Sunetra Pawar on taking oath as the first woman Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
