Shimla, Feb. 3 -- The Hospitlity industry in Himachal Pradesh expected to draw heavy footfall of tourists with good spell of snowfall at major tourist destinations including Manali, Kufri and now Kalpa of Kinnuar district.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Kalpa received 10.5 cm of snowfall, followed by Keylong (7.5 cm), Sangla (6.5 cm), Kukumseri (5.8 cm) and Hansa (2.5 cm), indicating active western disturbance impact in tribal areas.

Rainfall was mainly confined to lower and mid hills, with recording 22 mm, Sarahan 10.5 mm, Kasol 4 mm, Seobagh and Sujanpur Tira 2 mm each, while light rain was reported from Bhuntar, Rampur, Kangra and adjoining areas. Dense fog reduced visibility to 30 metres at Bilaspur, while sha...
