Nashik, April 29 -- The Devendra Fadnavis government, Wednesday, decided to provide land free of cost to duly approved Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools) in those districts of Maharashtra where the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has requested land for their establishment.
Significantly, pursuant to this very decision, land has been allotted for a Kendriya Vidyalaya at Nachane in the Ratnagiri district. This move is expected to accelerate the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalayas across the state.
The decision was taken during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
