Chennai, Feb. 18 -- French space technology firm Aldoria has signed a contract with Indian engineering company AXISCADES Technologies Limited to deploy optical stations for Space Situational Awareness (SSA) capabilities in India.
The agreement initiates the rollout of optical ground stations, with the first deployment planned for 2026. The project will then scale up in phases, targeting the establishment of more than a dozen stations by 2031.
According to Aldoria, the contract includes two key components - optical stations built on a standard-components architecture, and the software required to operate and expand a distributed SSA network.
