Chennai, March 8 -- Continuing a distinguished legacy of military service to the Nation, Lieutenant Pranjal Nangare joined the Indian Army Ordnance Corps at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai after the Passing out Parade on Saturday, becoming a fourth-generation officer from a family with an extraordinary tradition of serving in uniform.
With her commissioning, Lt Pranjal becomes the 15th member of her extended family to serve in the Armed Forces, the 13th to join the Army, and the first woman officer from the family, marking a historic milestone in its long and proud military lineage.
