Madhubani, Jan. 14 -- At least four power grid employees, including an executive engineer, were injured in a powerful blast at the Pandaul Power Grid under the Sakri police station area in Madhubani district today.
Official sources said here that the incident took place at around 4 pm when a loud explosion occurred in the power supply panel, leaving four personnel severely burnt. The condition of two of the injured is reported to be critical.
According to officials, the employees were engaged in maintenance work related to the supply panel at the Pandaul grid when a sudden short circuit triggered an explosion. The blast led to a massive fire as liquid inside the panel caught flames, engulfing the workers nearby.
