Saharanpur, Dec. 28 -- Four Indian Army soldiers were injured after a blast occurred during a practice session at an Army firing range in Saharanpur district on Saturday evening, officials said on Sunday.

According to sources, a battalion had arrived at the firing range for routine training. At around 5 pm, a sudden explosion took place during the practice, triggering panic at the site. Thick smoke spread across the area following the blast.

The injured soldiers have been identified as Deepak (27), Suresh (45), Praveen (30), and Pavitra (35). Other soldiers present nearby rushed to help them and immediately informed senior officers.
