Solan, Aug. 2 -- Following a viral social media video that showed uniformed police personnel purchasing liquor and loading it in a government vehicle in Chandigarh, the Superintendent of Police suspended four police personnel, including a sub inspector, who were deployed in the Himachal Pradesh CM's escort duty.
A video had gone viral which shows them purchasing a box of liquor from a shop in Chandigarh in uniform and loading it in their car. These personnel had gone to Chandigarh to escort CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.
Solan SP Gaurav Singh has confirmed the suspension of these personnel.
