Chandrapur, Oct. 31 -- Four members of a family were killed when their car collided with a truck today on the Wani-Ghuggus road near Om Nagar in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Riazhuddin Rafik-oddin Sheikh (53), Mayra Riazhuddin Sheikh (18), Zoya Riazhuddin Sheikh (13) and Aliba Riazhuddin Sheikh (11), all residents of Bhim Nagar, Wani.
A fifth occupant, Ihana Shadin-koddin Sheikh (5), sustained critical injuries and has been referred to Chandrapur for treatment.
According to police, Riazhuddin Sheikh, a garage owner from Bhim Nagar, was teaching his daughter to drive on the holiday. The car was carrying Sheikh's three daughters and his niece, when the driver lost control while negoti...
