Dharamshala, April 29 -- With three high-profile Indian Premier League (IPL) matches scheduled next month at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium, the Kangra district administration has stepped up disaster preparedness by planning four comprehensive mock drills to handle potential emergency situations.

Officials said the initiative aims to ensure the safety of thousands of spectators, players, match officials, VIPs and support staff expected during the matches.

Elaborate arrangements are being put in place to deal with any unforeseen incidents.

EOC In-charge Robin Kumar informed that the mock drills are designed around possible disaster scenarios.
