Rajgir, Feb. 6 -- In a gruesome incident, bodies of four jain tourists of a family were found hanging from a hook on the ceiling of their room in a guest house here on Friday.
Prima facie it is suspected to be a case of suicide as nearly 25 strips of anti depressants were recovered from the room after its doors were broken open, Rajgir Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sunil Kumar said.
"Those found dead were identified as Sumangla, her two daughters Shilpa and Shrutha and son Naga Prasad", Kumar said adding that Adhar Cards, ATM Cards and Rs 1,18,000 in cash were also recovered from the spot. Bodies had been sent for postmortem, he informed.
