Islamabad, Feb. 14 -- Former Pakistan PM and leader of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, petitioned Islamabad High Court on Saturday, seeking suspension of a sentence in case related to alleged misapropriation of gifts, as well as his release on bail on medical and humanitarian grounds.

Khan's petition came amid reports of his suffering from near blindness in his right eye with loss of 85 per vceof his eye sight in his right eye, the former premier filed a miscellaneous application through party workers Barrister Salman Safdar and Salman Akram Raja, seeking immediate suspension of his sentence and grant him bail.
