Chitradurga, Feb. 2 -- Former pontiff of Murugha Mutt, Murugha Sharana, has landed in fresh legal trouble after a case was filed against him in the Hosadurga court for allegedly selling mutt properties in violation of a court order.
The complaint was filed by Shivayogi Kalasad, president of the Murugha Mutt Administrative Committee and a retired IAS officer. The committee, appointed by the government to manage the affairs of the mutt, approached the court following a complaint by one Prakash, who alleged illegal sale of mutt properties.
