Patna, April 18 -- The Bihar government today revised the security cover of former Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha and accorded him "Z" category security.
According to an official letter issued here during the day by the Joint Secretary (Home Department, Special Branch) Navin Chandra, Sinha's security has been downgraded from the earlier "Z " category to "Z" category based on a fresh assessment.
The letter directed the state Director General of Police (DGP) to provide "Z" category security to Nishant Kumar too, son of former Chief Minister and current Rajya Sabha member Nitish Kumar. Nishant Kumar, previously was not entitled for any security cover.
