Hyderabad, July 22 -- With the first phase of Indiramma houses nearing completion in rural areas, Telangana Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has announced that the state government is now shifting focus to urban housing.

Plans are underway to build Indiramma houses in city areas, particularly adopting the G+3 apartment model to ensure the urban poor can continue their livelihoods without displacement.
