In addition to assessing the present state of the economy, the Survey also presents a forward-looking outlook, offering insights and projections for the upcoming fiscal year and signaling potential policy directions.
The Economic Survey will be followed by the union Budget for 2026-27, which Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present on February 1.
