Bhubaneswar, July 28 -- Incessant rainfall over the past few days has triggered flooding in six districts of Odisha, affecting more than 11,000 people.

Over 1,000 residents have been evacuated to shelter homes in the Mayurbhanj and Balasore districts.

According to official sources, the flood situation has impacted the districts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Sundargarh, and Keonjhar. The state government has deployed NDRF, ODRAF, and Fire Services teams for rescue and relief operations.
