Ghazipur (UP), Nov. 11 -- Like every year, large flocks of Siberian seagulls have begun arriving in the Ganga river in the Saidpur area, covering thousands of kilometers on their annual migration.

Crowds of people are gathering at the ghats of Ganga in the morning and evening, taking photos and selfies of these birds feeding them with their own hands. Consequently, shops around the ghats are selling gram flour dal sev, their favourite food.

Each year, these birds arrive in the area during the first weeks of November for their annual migration to the Ganga river. They remain there for the next five months. Then, in the last week of April, they begin returning to their homeland in Siberia, Russia.
