Ranchi, Feb. 6 -- In view of the heavy rush of passengers during the Holi festival, Indian Railways has decided to operate five special trains from Ranchi and Tatanagar. The move is expected to provide major relief to migrant workers, students and salaried passengers travelling to their native places.
According to railway officials, three special trains will be operated from the Ranchi Railway Division, including Ranchi-Gorakhpur-Ranchi, Ranchi-Ajmer-Ranchi and Ranchi-Jaynagar-Ranchi. In addition, two special trains will be run from the Tatanagar Railway Division on the Tatanagar-Kishanganj-Tatanagar and Tatanagar-Buxar-Tatanagar routes.
