New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- In a crackdown on suspected human trafficking and prostitution racket, Delhi Police rescued 11 victims, including five minor girls, during a raid in west Delhi Dwarka, an official said.

According to the police, the operation was carried out by the Dabri police station of the Southwest District following specific information provided by the Association for Voluntary Action (AVA).

A police officer said the raid led to the arrest of eight customers and two persons suspected to be brothel operators. "An FIR has been registered under a Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita section, which pertains to trafficking of persons," he added.
