Tel Aviv/Tehran, June 16 -- Iran launched a fresh wave of missile strikes which has killed at least five Israeli citizens and left dozens injured on Monday, confirmed Israeli Defence Ministry which has vowed retribution.

This marks the latest escalation in the ongoing war between the two foes, after another series of missile strikes by Iran killed 10 Israeli citizens. Following the attack, Israeli air raid sirens were triggered across the country, and emergency services were immediately deployed to tend to the injured, reports CBS News.
