Ranchi, Jan. 19 -- A five-day residential training workshop to strengthen the capacities of wardens of Kasturba Gandhi Girls' Residential Schools (KGBVs) of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh began here on Monday. The workshop is being jointly organised by the Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) and the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA).

The workshop was inaugurated by JEPC Director Shashi Ranjan, who said that KGBVs have been playing a pioneering role in promoting girls' education in Jharkhand.
