Chandigarh, April 4 -- In a breakthrough, the Punjab Police, in a joint operation with the Chandigarh Police, have solved the blast case involving the Punjab BJP headquarters in Sector 37.
Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav confirmed the arrest of five individuals linked to the conspiracy, which was allegedly orchestrated by Pakistan's intelligence agency, the ISI, to trigger instability in the border state.
Along with the arrests, security forces have recovered a live hand grenade and a cache of ammunition, successfully neutralizing a broader terror network directed by foreign handlers based in Germany and Portugal.
