Chennai, June 19 -- The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) on Thursday rescued a
fishermen from Mandapam in Rameswaram who fell of the boat while fishing in
mid seas and suffered seizures, and admitted him to hospital.
The fishermen was saved by ICG Ship C-432 after getting a distress call.
Sharing the photos of the rescue operations, the ICG, in a post on X, said
"A fisherman suffering seizure & falling overboard from #IFB Farish was
rescued by #ICG Ship C-432 near #Mandapam, braving rough seas."
" Life-saving aid was rendered, stabilizing the victim before transfer to GH
#Ramanathapuram. @IndiaCoastGuard -Saving Lives at Sea. #SavingLives
