Satara, March 30 -- A fire broke out at a chemical factory located in the Tasawade MIDC area of Karad taluka in Satara district on Monday morning, prompting an immediate response from fire brigade teams. Officials confirmed that no casualties have been reported in the incident.
According to a fire brigade officer, information about the blaze at the chemical unit was received early in the day, following which multiple fire engines were rushed to the site without delay. Firefighters are currently engaged in efforts to bring the situation under control.
Workers present at the factory managed to escape safely before the fire spread, ensuring that no injuries or loss of life occurred.
