New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- An FIR has been registered against senior IPS officer Shankar Chaudhary, a former Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Dwarka district, on allegations of extortion, illegal confinement, and criminal misconduct.
The case, filed with the Vigilance Department in Delhi, includes charges under sections of the Indian Penal Code such as 341 (wrongful restraint), 342 (wrongful confinement), and 166/166A(B) (criminal misconduct by a public servant), among other procedural violations.
