Agra, Aug. 24 -- A case has been registered against Sajda Begum, former chairperson of Aligarh Municipal Corporation.
Agra Vigilance has registered a case in the case of disproportionate assets. After the investigation lasted for about two years, Vigilance registered a case in Agra on August 23.
According to sources here on Sunday vigilance started investigation against Sajda Begum from April 20, 2023. Vigilance conducted a thorough investigation.
On March 20, 2025, the report was submitted to the government.
According to the FIR lodged in Vigilance, Sajda Begum had shown her income as about Rs 23.83 lakh while she spent Rs 50.61 lakh.
