Manila, Sept. 17 -- World No. 20 Finland pulled off a huge upset at the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship after holding off two-time Olympic champion France here.

Having lost to Argentina in full sets on Sunday, Finland claimed a 3-2 (25-19, 17-25, 29-27, 21-25, 15-9) victory over the world No. 4 France side to improve to a 1-1 win-loss record in Group C on Tuesday.

Opposite Joonas Mikael Jokela had 17 kills and three aces to lead Finland with a team-high 20 points, with outside hitter Luka Marttila and middle blocker Petteri Tyynismaa adding 15 and 13 points respectively.
