New Delhi, Sept. 28 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah while reiterating that India will be completely free from Naxalism by March 31, 2026, said that the battle will not truly be over until society confronts and understands those who provide ideological, legal and financial support to Naxalism.

Addressing the valedictory session of the 'Bharat Manthan-2025' event titled 'Naxal Mukt Bharat: Ending Red Terror Under Modi's Leadership', at Vigyan Bhawan here, Shah while reflecting on the long and violent history of Left-Wing Extremism (LWE) in India, paid tribute to those who lost their lives, suffered injuries or endured personal losses due to Naxalite violence since its emergence in the 1960s.
