Bareilly, Sept. 20 -- In a significant breakthrough in the firing incident outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani's Bareilly residence, the police have arrested the fifth accused, Ramniwas alias Deepu alias Deepak, following an encounter near the Bihari Pur river bridge in the Shahi police station area.
The 19-year-old, who hails from the Jaitaran area of Beawar district in Rajasthan, had done recce of Patani's house days before the attack. He sustained a gunshot injury during the encounter. He had a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head.
The police recovered a .32 bore pistol, four live cartridges, and four used shells from Ramniwas. Another accused, Anil Nivasi, hailing from Haryana, was also apprehended during the operation. He was found wit...
