Mumbai, Feb. 19 -- Global logistics company FedEx and Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) began work on FedEx's 300,000-square feet fully automated air cargo hub at a long-term investment of Rs 2,500 crore, according to an official statement.
The facility has been designed as a regional consolidation and redistribution hub to be developed in partnership with Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL).
The hub leverages Navi Mumbai International Airport's (NMIA) multimodal infrastructure to strengthen Western India's international trade corridor.
