Latur, March 16 -- A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a father and his young son near Umaraga Pati in Jalkot taluka of Latur district on March 16, after a speeding car rammed into them while they were standing beside their motorcycle, an official said on Monday.
According to available information, Ankush Vishwanath Gite (50), the serving deputy sarpanch of Umaraga (Retu) Gram Panchayat, and his son Omkar Ankush Gite (24) were returning home after finishing work in their agricultural field.
