Patna, May 25 -- Congress on Sunday demanded for rights to farmers to fix the price of their produce.
Congress leaders raised the demand for farmers in a conference organised at state headquarters of the party and also targeted the government for its inaction in protecting rights of farmers. It was a pathetic condition that farmers were finding no option but to leave their farming profession as they were facing huge losses due to failure of the government in ensuring payment to Minimum Support Price (MSP) to them, they alleged.
