Lucknow, Feb. 10 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav today launched a scathing attack on the central government over the free trade deals inked with the EU and US, saying that if everything related to agriculture were to come from abroad, the country's farmers would be completely ruined.
He questioned what farmers would grow, what would they sell, and how would they support their families with their hard-earned money.
Posting on his social media account on Tuesday, Akhilesh Yadav said that if farmers do not receive a fair price for their crops, how will they be able to fulfill their social responsibilities, such as educating their children, treating the elderly, and marrying their daughters.
