Bhubaneswar, Feb. 21 -- Proceedings of the Odisha Assembly were disrupted for the fourth consecutive day on Saturday as Opposition members from the BJD and Congress created a ruckus over issues related to farmers and alleged irregularities in paddy procurement.
The repeated disruptions forced Speaker Surama Padhy to adjourn the House twice, first till 11:30 AM and later till 4:00 PM.
The Assembly failed to conduct Question Hour and Zero Hour smoothly due to continuous protests by the Opposition.
As soon as the House convened at 10:30 AM, BJD and Congress members rushed to the well, holding placards and raising anti-government slogans, similar to the scenes witnessed over the past three days.
