New Delhi, Nov. 5 -- On her way home from a private library, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly shot at by a teenager who, officials said today, had been harassing her after she stopped speaking to him.

Officials from Haryana Police said the incident occurred on Monday evening in Ballabgarh's Shyam Colony in Faridabad.

Police from Ballabgarh City station stated that several teams, including the Crime Branch, have been formed to apprehend the 19-year-old accused, who faces charges of attempted murder and offences under the Arms Act.

It was reported by the police that the bullet grazed the girl's shoulder, causing injuries to her left forearm and shoulder. She is currently under medical treatment at a private hospital and is in stable condit...
