Mumbai, Feb. 17 -- The family of Ramdhani Yadav, who lost his life in the Mulund Metro slab collapse on the under-construction Mumbai Metro Line 4, has received compensation amounting to Rs 39.5 lakh from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority and the contractor.
Following the disbursal of the amount, the family has decided to take his body to Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh to perform the last rites.
Yadav was killed on Saturday when a bridge segment of the under-construction Metro Rail Line 4 collapsed onto passing vehicles in Mumbai's Mulund area.
