Mathura, Jan. 9 -- A shocking incident was reported on Thursday morning in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district, where a young woman working as a bank employee was allegedly abducted in broad daylight by her own family members who opposed her love marriage.

The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, based on which the police have launched an intensive search operation, officials confirmed on Friday.

The abducted woman has been identified as Priyanka, a resident of Banaskantha district in Gujarat. She had married Mathura resident Ravinder Singh four years ago against her family's wishes.
