Ranchi, March 17 -- The disruption in commercial gas supply has begun impacting industrial activities in the Barhi area of Hazaribagh district, raising concerns over potential factory shutdowns and job losses.
The shortage is reportedly linked to ongoing geopolitical tensions involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.
According to sources, the supply of commercial gas has been completely halted in Barhi and nearby areas for the past week.
As a result, more than a dozen iron, steel and other industrial units operating in the Barhi industrial area are on the verge of closure. The disruption is expected to adversely affect production, construction activities, employment, and overall revenue generation.
