New Delhi, April 10 -- Crime Branch of Delhi Police has dismantled a racket involving the storage and sale of expired food and cosmetic products near the Kapashera border by arresting a man, an official said on Friday.
Acting on intel that was received on Wednesday, a team from the Central Range carried out an operation to verify allegations that a local shopkeeper was selling expired goods at discounted prices.
Decoy customers were deployed, who purchased several items from the shop. Upon inspection, the products were found to be past their expiry date, police said.
