New Delhi, March 27 -- Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Friday welcomed the Center's decision to reduce excise duty on petrol and diesel, which he termed a "people-centric step" that will provide significant relief to citizens amid rising global economic pressures.
Sachdeva said the decision comes at a time when countries across the world are grappling with inflation due to instability in the energy sector, fluctuating crude oil prices, and disrupted supply chains.
