New Delhi, Sept. 17 -- European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called up PM Narendra Modi to wish him on his 75th birthday today. PM Modi said he was delighted to learn about the 'New Strategic EU-India Agenda' adopted today and said that India is ready to take the partnership with the EU to the next level.
The two leaders also reaffirmed their commitment for concluding the India-EU FTA negotiations before the end of the year.
PM Modi said in a post on X that India is committed to an early and peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict. "Always a pleasure to speak to President Ursula von der Leyen. Thank you for your warm birthday greetings.
