Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 19 -- The European union (EU) is keen to tap Kerala's potential in multiple sectors and deepen cooperation with the state in areas such as education, shipping, logistics, fisheries, and culture, as the state offers significant opportunities for EU nations, said EU Ambassador to India Herve Delphin.

"Kerala has great potential in the areas of education, shipping, logistics, fisheries, culture and renewable energy. The EU presented a new blueprint for EU-India ties yesterday in Brussels, and we want to extend those relations to the state level as well," Delphin said on the sidelines of the Kerala-EU Blue Economy Conclave that opened at Leela Kovalam, A Raviz Hotel.
